I'm going to try quitting LiveJournal, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. The amount of time I've been spending online when I should be working or doing useful stuff is getting to be ridiculous; for example, this weekend I have spend practically all my time online. And I figured I'd just get it out there before people start panicking as to why I'm not around the next few days.

EDIT: It actually looks like I'm going to be around more than usual, as the internet is my hiding place.

I just wish I could choose a story and stick to it. It would make life just that bit easier.

As it is, I keep starting planning/thinking about a story, getting bored of planning, starting writing anyway, writing two pages, then getting bored of the idea and starting a new one. (Rinse and repeat.)

Earlier, my mum wandered over and asked me if I knew a Kate and John (or something like that) in the village.

Me: Nope. Should I?
Mum: One of their kids died last night.
Me: o.O

I can't believe it. My laptop -- the one I got in MAY this year -- has died, and so has been sent back to be fixed. Unfortunately, all the data on it has been wiped (seriously, EVERYTHING -- 30+ fanfics (some still in progress), homework (all handed in, luckily), 20+ original stories that I have no-where else, 200+ pictures, 90+ SPN episodes, 10 DW ( Read more... )
